赣州宏光稀土永磁材料有限公司的前身是赣州宏光稀土金属材料有限公司。自1996年成立以来，公司规模迅猛发展，成为赣州市规模的稀土生产企业之一。为了促进赣州的经济发展，充分发挥赣州稀土资源的优势，公司于2006年3月在赣州经济开发区迎宾大道征地50亩实施稀土高科技---1000吨稀土永磁材料项目。本项目投入资金2000万元，建设的设计规模为组建高性能烧结钕铁硼稀土永磁材料生产线，年产1000吨。
